Chapter 1 - The Love

I have had several loves in my life. First the woman who has shared my life for nearly 15 years, then my daughter who makes me the happiest father in the world, then my friends who support me and pull me up, then my job, its complexity, its ins and outs.

Chapter 2 - The discovery

Living in Poland for almost 10 years, I had the chance to respond to a job offer for a company that was looking for a French native. Not understanding much of the rest of the job description, I applied and was taken on. And here I am, propelled into the fantastic world of the INTERNET.

Chapter 3 - The first fight

Passionate about the web and new technologies, I had the opportunity to join MM Brown as an e-commerce and e-marketing specialist. My curiosity led me to this company, where I could explore new horizons and develop my skills in the field of e-marketing and e-commerce. The world of the web, in my eyes, is an endless source of fascination that is constantly evolving.

Within MM Brown, I had the opportunity to develop the Chocolissimo brand in France. Our target audience consisted of both individual customers ordering through our website and B2B clients looking for promotional gifts.

To boost our sales with individual customers, I implemented AdWords campaigns, optimized search engine optimization (SEO), created and sent regular newsletters (using both our internal base and external mailing companies), collaborated with other websites during specific events, managed our Facebook and Instagram accounts on a daily basis, and designed campaigns to increase our visibility and performance. I also oversaw sales and optimized operations on marketplaces such as Amazon and Cdiscount, using sponsored campaigns and optimizing our product listings.

To energize our B2B sales, I created specific AdWords campaigns for this customer segment. I also coordinated our presence at professional trade shows, including the Premium Sourcing in Paris, the CTCO in Lyon, and the PSI in Düsseldorf. I had the opportunity to design and translate catalogs and brochures for professionals. The challenge in B2B sales is to select the appropriate product from nearly 600 references while offering suitable customization, strictly adhering to deadlines, needs, and budget.

chapter 4 - The current battlefield

With the successful experience, I joined 4kraft as an e-commerce specialist for the Kinderkraft brand. My first mission was to take charge of our Cdiscount account, both in retail and on the marketplace. In collaboration with various departments and account managers, I optimized product listings, streamlined delivery and storage operations (Fulfillment by Cdiscount), improved product availability, and, most importantly, increased the sales rate. I managed to increase the daily sales rate by over 100%, especially during special events such as French Days, Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and Baby Month. I also negotiated visibility placements, such as the main homepage banner, the childcare dedicated page, and top-of-list placements in search results.

I was later asked to join the marketing department to manage the brand’s visibility and advertising campaigns on Amazon. I successfully applied for the position of E-marketing Manager and, during my trial and learning period, I built a team. I had the opportunity to recruit several people to manage the European markets, both on Amazon and in the B2B marketing domain. Thanks to my team, we managed to reduce the overall advertising cost (Acos) to only 4%, while increasing budgets.

Along the way, we optimized the team structure by assigning specialists by channel rather than by country. This way, three people were exclusively dedicated to Amazon campaigns for all markets, one person handled B2B marketing operations, and another managed the technical aspects of our websites and shop-in-shop with our B2B partners. This enriching experience required me to adapt to the varied needs of the company, our customers, and my team.

After about two years and an internal company reorganization, I was offered the opportunity to lead the E-commerce project as a Digital Growth Manager. My mission was to increase traffic to our various websites while improving their profitability. I started by optimizing what had not worked so far, and then improved our collaboration with the different agencies we work with. It was a long-term effort, but the positive results quickly became apparent.

More recently, I was entrusted with the responsibility for all of our e-commerce websites, not just the acquisition strategy. It’s an ambitious new challenge to which my team and I are fully committed.
Conclusion

The meaning of internet

Alongside my career, I am currently enrolled in a training program to become a certified Front-End Developer and Digital Marketing Project Manager.

I pursue these training courses with the aim of developing both professionally and personally. The digital field deeply fascinates me, and I am eager to understand its mechanisms and intricacies.
